The 2024 competition is over!
The Final was held on Sunday 19 January 2025 in Verrière-le-Buisson (91), with three finalists:

Thalweg by Renaud VINCENT (France)
The three prizes awarded at the Final: the Audience Prize, the Jury Prize and La Traversière’s ‘Coup de Coeur’ went to Jean-Mathias PETRI for his piece 7 tableaux.
A first since the competition was created!
Donemus Publishing, a Dutch publisher specialising in contemporary music, will be offering him a copy of his score!

This year, the constraint will be to compose for low flutes. The work, lasting 8 minutes, must be original and unpublished. It must be written for a directed ensemble of 10 flutes:
- 4 alto flutes in G
- 4 bass flutes in C
- 2 double basses in C
The deadline for submissions is midnight Tuesday, November 5.
The jury will select the 3 finalist scores half-november, 2024.
The Final, which will take the form of a concert, will take place on Sunday January 19, 2025 at 4pm, in the Auditorium of the Conservatoire de Verrières le Buisson (91).
